At the center of the mesmerizing rolling meadows, resided a young shepherd. His life was untarnished, simple yet virtuous. His only responsibility was essentially to look after his flock of ewes.
Their gentle baas and the rustling of the breezes through the solo tree on the peak were his constant companions. Day after day, watching over his wards imbued in him a sense of quiet fulfillment.
But, there were occasional moments of isolation, when the shepherd boy would long for company. During one such occasion out of sheer boredom, the shepherd boy conceived a naughty plot.
Stories of wolves preying on sheep had long been circulating in the village. So, the boy opted to used this fear and played a prank on the townsfolk.
